These beavertails are offered to the Gunsmith or Advanced Hobbyist to allow you to create that special design for the "tail" that you've been wanting to do, but the hammer pocket that you find in pretty much every beavertail got in your way. The Gunsmith Special is identical to our other beavertails with the sole exception being that we omitted the hammer pocket during the machining process. Now you can create that "Throw Back" or "Retro" shape of the 'tail and create the custom one-off look you've been wanting to make.
