This .180" tall front night sight is the same height as the original front sight used with the original height Colt rear sight blade as well as aftermarket sights made by KenSight and Wilson, if the customer wants to maintain that same relationship of the front sight to rear sight.
For use on the King Cobra Target, this .180" tall front sight is .040” taller than than the factory height (.140"tall) to match the .040" increase of the HD-020 Snake Sight Rear Sight blade. If you are still using the original rear sight blade or another brand of rear sight on a King Cobra Target, then you'll need to stay with the .140" tall offerings found HERE
The front sight blade is made in the Improved Ramp pattern to give a sharper, blacker sight image, yet still be good for holster carry in modern good quality gun leather. Our green tritium lamps are the brightest available and our photo-luminescent Lumi-Green ring gives a bright contrasting aiming point. This combination gives you a glowing feature visible through the greatest lighting spectrum from daylight to dark.
