It's worthwhile to have a few spare parts in your range bag and an extra mag catch lock and spring can save your day if you loose your original for some reason. Customers have had me fit more than one style of magazine catch to their pistol to make it serve multiple roles. I always send the mag catches dressed out with springs and locks fitted to the pistol.

These locks are made from barstock, have USGI style slotted heads and are finished in blue. Supplied with Wolff #2 mag catch spring.

Nice product

I purchased this part to use with the Harrison Designs extended mag catch button. Great quality... forged... quailty spring... what more can I say. Another superb product from the BEST 1911 parts designer around.

I have yet to find any manufacturer out there with parts that pocess the same quality as the parts on this website. I have owned atleast half a dozen different 1911's and have upgraded them all through the years.

Ive used ALL the big names like Wilson, Brown, Clark, Nowlin, ect... I've found John Harison's parts excede all these other manufacturers. They are made from better material (never cast) they are designed in a unique way. Most 1911 parts look identical but Johns parts are unique in apperence but they work better than the origianl design. His slide stop and safety are a breath of fresh air in the world of this 100 year old design. PERFECTION!!
