Plain Black Front Sight for Novak dovetails

Many 1911s are equipped with a factory machined front sight dovetail made to the popular Novak dovetail dimensions. These applications require a front sight with the correctly dimensioned and engineered dovetail to insure a proper fit. The best front sight on the market is made by Dawson Precision and I am pleased to offer it to compliment my rear sight product line. The DP front sights are machined from hardened steel, the rear face is serrated and they are finished in black oxide. They are offered in heights of  .180"and .200"; both with a width of .125". In general, a full size Government Model would in most cases work with a .180" front sight to work with most commonly used rear sights.

With proper installation these sights will fit 1911 pistols with the Novak front dovetail cut including:
