Fits all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols with round top slides, including EMP and Prodigy and some Dan Wesson 1911s
The Springfield Armory 1911s equipped with a factory cut front sight dovetail require a front sight with the correctly dimensioned and engineered dovetail to fit properly. The best front sight on the market is made by Dawson Precision and I am pleased to offer it to compliment my rear sight product line. The DP sights are machined from hardened steel and are serrated 50 lpi to enhance daylight visibility. They are offered in heights of .140", .160", .180"and .205"; all with a width of .125".

The .180" front sight is the typical Springfield factory front sight height for all adjustable sight versions and also works well with all variants of the HD-002.
Springfield EMP (3") pistols come factory equipped with a .140" tall front sight.
Springfield EMP4 (4") pistols come factory equipped with a .180" tall front sight
