Amazing magazines. Exceptional feeding and quality construction
Tripp Research mags are really great.  I chose to get them in black.  Unlike the polished stainless models these need a little bit of use to break in.  The coating can make the follower a little gritty at first.  But run the mag.  It smooths out with just one range trip.  You really wont regret these mags.  The springs are extra heavy.  Which also after a few uses settle to the perfect tension.  Excellent product.

Feeds Everything!
The Tripp Cobra Mags are without a doubt the best 1911 magazines on the market. They are 100% reliable and will feed every ammo that I have ever loaded into them. I recently purchased a new 1911 (Tisas 1911 Raider B45RDG - Colt M45A1 clone) and the first time at the range I was trying several different .45ACP loads; when I loaded the factory Mec-Gar 8rd. magazines with PMC 185gr. JHP, the round nosedived into the frame ramp and pushed the projectile deep into the case. I tried a few other different magazines - Ruger 7rd, Colt 7rd., Wilson Combat 10rd. - all of which resulted in the same issue (to varying degrees). I loaded one of my Tripp magazines with 8 rounds of the PMC JHP, and it fed all 8 rounds without any problems - which, based on my experience with the Tripp magazines in my other 1911s - in all honesty - I fully expected. Yes, Tripp Cobra Magazines are expensive (but they less expensive here than elsewhere), but the quality and reliability are well worth it.
