Excellent replacement for my Springer 1911-A1
I just swapped out the original hammer in my Springfield 1911-A1 with John's HD-131. I couldn't be happier. I love the retro look, and the reduced potential for hammer bite is a huge plus

SS Retro Hammer
Just installed the S.S. Retro Hammer on a mil spec Springfield Armory 1911. Outstanding fit and finish. Top quality all the way. I really like the captive half cock. The function is smooth and positive. This was combined with an upgraded trigger, sear, disconnector, sear spring and hammer strut. The look of this hammer is beautiful. Now it's range time!
