What you see in the picture is what you get. The level of finish is superb for the price. The engaging surface of the sear is already prepped and has a mirror polish. If your frame, hammer, and disconnect are within reasonable spec this sear should drop in and provide excellent, long-life service!

I prepped one of these sears with the True Radius Sear Jig and it has an excellent break in my Colt Combat Commander XSE. The thumb safety required just a few swipes with a file, so this part was nearly "drop-in" on my particular Colt.

I have bought from other premium brands but the machining and finish are truly amazing, way better than others I've seen. If you like true high quality parts I think nothing is better, true swiss watch part like!
