Perfection
Let's face it -- there are hundreds of grips out there for a 1911.
Having recently purchased a Colt stainless Government Model (o1091), I wanted to replace the hard rubber grips that come with the gun.
After looking for weeks, I settled on Harrison's double diamond G-10 grips. They are perfect. They arrived in the mail this morning (much faster delivery than expected, BTW) and were on the Colt 10 minutes later.
Fit is perfect. Finish is flawless. The product is exactly as described. There is the "perfect" amount of grip in the diamond cuts and the material without being too smooth or too harsh.
The G-10 and the stainless are a perfect combination for a working gun that is going to be riding in a very early model Blade Tech kydex holster. No worries about sweat, rust, solvents or wear.
In short, I highly recommend this grip for anyone looking for either a replacement 1911 grip, or an upgrade, and who is seeking a sensible, affordable, long-lasting, handsome grip.
