John...I got the ejector the other day and and did the fit/install.....it really is going to add that "finished" look to the project....it could be a tad longer on the tail but this is a Caspain frame and they "stretched" the dimensions at the back of the frame...the rear leg was long as you said it would be the the frame holes needed more chamfer so the ejector sat nice and flat on the frame....I cut the adjustment pads with a small safe edged pillar file..a little marking with a Sharpie and some try fits and done!....Slick!...

I bought two 9mm oversized exact fit ejectors and once again Harrison Design blows me away! I have become a huge Harrison Design fan recently. This is hands down the absolute best ejector on the market today.  I am a 2011 and double stack 1911 guy, Ive got a DS 1911 in 45 and a Prodigy in 9mm and this ejector solves all of the issues Ive had in the past with there being that stupid looking gap at rear of the slide on 1911s. That and it is by far a much beefier design than anything else that I have come across, a bit on the spendy side for an ejector but worth it I believe. I don't think that I will ever have to change out these ejectors, I believe that they will outlast me and I shoot a lot (not as much 45acp as I would like to)! That said if you want that perfect fit with no gaps and you are just a dude with files, sand paper, and stones I would really recommend that you take your time and not rush things, the results will be worth it. They really made a believer out of me and from here on out will be the only ejectors I put in any gun I build. There are lots of parts makers out there making quality parts and there are lots of other parts of the gun that it doesn't matter that much to me who's name is on it, but this is one of those pay where Harrison really is making a product that I don't see anyone else making and is the best design of it's kind. This is the absolute best. I am not a gunsmith (not yet anyway) but I've done my research and own parts from all the best parts makers: Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, EGW, Infinity, Cylinder and Slide, Dawson Precision, etc. I really love Harrison Design and wish I could afford more of their parts and tools, someday...
