Effective Jan. 1, 2026,, California passed AB 1263, concerning firearms manufacturing and firearms parts sales and/or shipments to California residents. I have attached a form that the California resident will have to fill out and return to me via email as an attachment (not embedded in the email).
Print out the attached PDF file and fill out as below.
Your order number will be on your order on the web store. You will have to place an order before you can get the order #. Fill in the other blanks per the instructions on the form.
Note that the ID must have your full legal name and the address that the parts are being shipped to. Your age is to be a minimum of 18 years.
Acceptable forms of ID are State of California Drivers License, California State ID and US Passport.
Once you have filled in your blanks completely, lay your ID on top of the box and turn both over on a flat bed scanner. Scan the form as a PDF file. Then attach that PDF file to your reply email as an attachment. If you need help and offices service store like Kinkos or UPS Store can help for a modest fee. NOTE- taking a cell phone picture and sending it in an email does not work. Too small to read, too dark to read.
DO NOT RETURN THE FORM EMBEDDED IN YOUR EMAIL. RETURN THE FORM AS AN ATTACHMENT TO AN EMAIL.
Verify that all information on your form including what’s on your ID is legible.
I will process your order on receipt of the completed form.
Also note that each order you place for parts will require a separate AB 1263 form because the Order Number is unique to a single order.
