Fits all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols with round top slides, including EMP and Prodigy and some Dan Wesson 1911s
I've had several customers asking for a fiber-optic front sight and decided to add the Dawson Precision sights to the product line. These are the nicest fiber optic front sights that I've found.
I offer the .180" tall version for use with my HD-002-S and HD-002-U rear sight, as well as the HD-006 sight used on the TRP Operator. I offer this sight in two widths, the normal width of .125", improved ramp style blade and to accomodate you speed shooters, a narrower version of .100" wide that is a Patridge style blade. If you are using your OEM adjustable rear sight, then I recommend the .100" wide front sight. If you are installing either of the HD-002 rear sights, then the .125" wide sight would work best.
I am also stocking this sight for the Springfield EMP 3" with the original rear sight in a height of .140" with a width of .125". I recommend a rear sight notch width of at least .140".
And for anyone who needs to adjust elevation, I'm also stocking .160", .170", .190" & .200" heights so you can get totally dialed in.
These sights come with an aluminum installation drift and spare red and green fiber optic rods. They have a red f/o rod factory installed.
